Brandsworth was established by Tim Marshall in 2006. Tim is a London based technology lawyer who has over a fifteen years of experience in commercial intellectual property law, having previously worked for several international law firms in Sydney and London.

Brandsworth has been established to provide high quality, commercial legal advice to businesses and advisors on all aspects of commercial intellectual property law at a competitive price. Brandsworth provides City quality advice at a more reasonable price.

Brandsworth is based in Highbury, in Central London.

Prior to establishing Brandsworth, Tim worked in the intellectual property departments of Clifford Chance and Herbert Smith, over a period spanning 7 years, working on a diverse range of intellectual property, information technology and commercial matters, including providing advice on all aspects of intellectual property law, corporate IP/IT support in M&A transactions, and negotiating and drafting standalone intellectual property and IT agreements.

Tim is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and New South Wales, Australia.

Tim holds a First Class Honours Degree in Molecular Biology and a Graduate Law Degree, both from Sydney University, Australia.
