About Brandsworth
Brandsworth is a specialist intellectual property law practice providing the highest quality commercial and legal advice on patents, trade marks, copyright, designs, trade secrets and other intellectual property for all types of businesses, legal advisors, consultants and individuals, and at a fraction of the cost of a City law firm.
Brandsworth was founded in 2006 by Tim Marshall (pictured left), who has over a decade of experience in commercial intellectual property law, having previously worked for several international law firms in Sydney and London.
Brandsworth is based in Highbury, in London and services clients throughout London and Southern and Western England, including major regional centres such as Bath, Bristol, Cambridge and Oxford.
Prior to establishing Brandsworth Tim worked in the intellectual property department of Clifford Chance and the IP/IT department of Herbert Smith, over a period spanning 7 years. During this time he worked on a diverse range of intellectual property, IT and commercial matters, including providing advice on intellectual property, corporate IP/IT support in M&A transactions, and negotiating and drafting standalone intellectual property and IT agreements.
Tim is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and New South Wales, Australia.
Tim holds a First Class Honours Degree in Molecular Biology and a Graduate Law Degree, both from Sydney University, Australia.
Please see the News and Highlights section for Brandsworth's highlights.
Outside of Brandsworth, Tim enjoys surfing (although seldomly in the UK), running, fly-fishing, guitar, the occasional Arsenal fixture and the odd spot of DIY.
