Brandsworth is almost into its fourth year of successful operation, and what better way to mark this imminent milestone than with a new, fresher looking website. I hope you like it.

Brandsworth has managed to weather the storm of recession and the coldest winter for 30 years, and is currently experiencing a significant upturn in the number of instructions. As is typical in a recession, litigation based matters are more prevalent than transactional work. Brandsworth’s case load has reflected this with a significant increase in the number of instructions to act in IP disputes in the last quarter of 2009 and the beginning of 2010.

Even though Brandsworth has seen a recent upturn in instructions, the new website marks a concentrated period of marketing activity. Brandsworth is a regular attendee at the Islington Chamber of Commerce events, is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and is currently forming a number of strategic partnerships with other professionals and businesses.

This new website is a “blogsite” and so you will find regular blogs and articles on topics of interest to your business and news from the Brandsworth desk. Generally, the articles will aim to be of a practical nature. For example, Brandsworth is currently running two series of articles; one on distribution agreements and one on IP licences, so look out for these. Feel free to respond to any of the blogs; let me know whether they were helpful or not or suggest a topic for subsequent articles.

Coming soon to accompany this new website will be e-newsletters. These will contain the same articles as those posted on the website, but you will get them “hot off the press”.
